Butterflies and bumblebees
Dandelions and lilac trees
Sugarcane and honeydew
June afternoon with you

Dragonflies and waterfalls
Sitting on a concrete wall
I touch my finger to your lips

Photographs upon the bank
The smile upon your back
A guy like me can die a million times
Finding such wonder in your eyes

And later when you come in close
I wonder what I’ll miss the most
It’s good and sad to know it goes

Ribbon of blue across the sky
Orange creamsickle sighs
Walking slow and holding hands
Things unsaid you understand
Ribbon of blue across the sky
Orange creamsickle sighs
Bumblebees and butterflies
